Welcome & About Odds n Ends

Hello and thank you for stopping by!

Odds n Ends is a home-based quilt business, based in Delaware, USA, dedicated to creating beautiful items for your home. I enjoy taking a piece of this and a yard of that, putting it together, and designing something unique and wonderful that you'll want to have around in your home all the time. My items also make charming gifts for family and friends.

I'm so glad your here...please have a look around, get cozy with your favorite cup of tea or whatever is your favorite beverage, and enjoy yourself! :D I'd love to get to know you, so when you feel ready, leave me a note and say hi!

My items are machine-quilted with 100% cotton fabrics. All fabrics are pre-washed for shrinkage and fabric color-fast so no bleeding or extra shrinking will occur. I use Warm and Natural 100% cotton batting with minimal shrinkage during the first wash. All items are made in a pet and smoke-free home. And, every item includes a permanent sewn-in washing instructions tag (except corner bookmarks).

My items consist of Mug Rugs, Corner Bookmarks, Pillow Covers, Wall Hangings, and Table Runners. I do not sell quilts and I do not take custom orders. Each item is one-of-a-kind, and can't be guaranteed of duplication...so if you see something you love, grab it quick!

My Story

I've been sewing since I was a girl, but I have been quilting less than five years. I have a love of making skirts, but after you have made your new outfit I'd often have a lot of leftover scraps lying around I didn't know quite what to do with them. I started seeing "scrappy" quilted items on Pinterest a lot, and one day just decided to start learning how to quilt! It's been fun to take my leftover Odds n Ends and make something completely new and beautiful with them.

I've lived a stones throw away from Lancaster County, Pennsylvania all my life, and have oo'd and ahhed over their gorgeous quilts and style. Even though my own grandmother's didn't teach me to quilt (they did sew!), I still feel like part of the quilting heritage being passed down from generation, to generation. And now I want you to have an opportunity to have a piece of that heritage and charm in your very own home...even if you don't sew and quilt yourself!
